Mr. Ray J. P. Chuang visited to the University of Hong Kong to give a seminar. His presentation was held in Room 7-37, Haking Wong Building on June 30, 2015. His presentation was entitled “The Future Trend of Semiconductor Industry and How to Link to University Study.” Mr. J.P. Chuang received his B.S. degree from National Tsing-Hua University in 1985, and his M.S. degrees in Material Science and M.S. in Engineering Economic System from Stanford University in 1987 and 1989, respectively. He was a Senior Process Engineer in Siliconix and Intel, and Thin Films Manager in TI-Acer. He joined Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company in 1997, and is currently a Technical Director in charge of the world most advanced and largest R&D GIGAFAB in IC Foundry Business, which produces over 100,000 12-inch wafers per month.
